What Happened Next? San Diego, California
Troy and I flew from the United Kingdom to San Diego, California, where both of us struggled to get back into this time zone. Troy scraped a foot on the volcanic breccia of Ben Nevis, and was limping, so several days of relative calm were healing. On the other hand, it was good to have something to do so that I wouldnt miss England and Scotland quite so much. I met Sound Effects partner Mike Sakarias here, and we started work on a project, visiting the Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum to record every engine we possibly could in two days time. Here are highlights. |

Meanwhile, we went to some evening shows at the Old Globe Theatre, where I was a resident designer in 198788, and I was reminded of the beautiful chimes of the California Tower. |
